Andrea Sevaldová is the name behind Slovak brand of sporting functional clothing AidaStyle, predominantly utilizing folk motives, whole colour spectrum and originality of designs. She has been designing clothes as far back as she can recall. Since 2002 she began to take more serious interest in fashion design and started making her own clothing range. After finishing studies of law her destiny embarked her on a journey of a long-neglected passion. She started working for a clothing company, where she was responsible for marketing, graphic design, but first of all for designing sporting and dancing clothes and other garments mainly from elastic materials. At that point, around 2009, she finally made the decision to create her own brand of clothing.
Leggings, swimwear, yoga / fitness / pole dance clothing, thermal clothing with original printed designs is at the core of AidaStyle brand portfolio. Materials used for leggings, thermo sweatshirts and thermo clothing have OEKO-TEX, OEKO-TEX standard 100 certificates. Their manufacturer of these materials, meets the highest standards of organic production of the Global Recycled Standard Certificate issued by Control Union Certification in Holland. It has also been collaborating with Healthy Seas and Aquafil SpA since 2016, which form the initiative of the Eco Friendly Manufacturers Association, which have a joint mission to clean the sea from plastic waste - including fishing nets. These materials are made of premium recycled fabrics made of ECONYL® yarn and 100%, regenerated nylon yarn obtained from industrial waste, such as discarded fishing nets, carpet hairs, etc.
Of course, the Aidastyle brand is trying to support local producers and materials, one special used for bodysuits are from Slovak spinning factories, as well as printing that is applied across all materials in her creation is purely Slovak matter. A long-time supplier is a printing house - a small family business located just outside Bratislava, where all the beautiful prints in this portfolio are created.
